Easy Strawberry Cream Pie.

April 15, 2016 by Mom Does It All 4 Comments

Spring has finally arrived! The warmer weather, the abundance of fresh fruit and the more sunshine per day has really got me in the mood for some yummy Spring desserts and recipes. When I think of Spring desserts I immediately think of fruit! Strawberries, blueberries, lemons, and kiwi are some of my favorite fruits to use for Spring desserts. This week, I made a super easy Strawberry Cream Pie and everyone in the family just loved it! I hope you will enjoy it, too!

EASY STRAWBERRY CREAM PIE

This dessert is super simple to make and you only need a few ingredients! You start by slicing some strawberries to add to the bottom of your shortbread pie crust. You then make some Strawberry Creme pudding by following the directions according to the package. After that, you add some whipped topping to the pudding and fold it together. Next, you will put it in the fridge for about and hour. Then you can top the pie with additional strawberry slices and whipped topping if so desired. Then, you just enjoy the deliciousness!

INGREDIENTS

  • one shortbread pie crust
  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries
  • one cup of whipped topping
  • one package of Instant Strawberry Creme pudding mix
  • milk (for pudding mix)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. You need to start by slicing your strawberries into circles to layer in the bottom of your pie crust.
  2. Next, make the strawberry creme pudding according to the directions on the package.
  3. After your pudding is set up, fold in one cup of whipped topping.
  4. Add this mixture to your pie crust, on top of the strawberry slices.
  5. Let refrigerate for an hour.
  6. Top with additional whipped topping and strawberry slices.
  7. Enjoy!
