Go Ahead and Play with HOOT for Kids!

June 6, 2017 by Mom Does It All 9 Comments

I received a free product in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Today I am going to introduce you to HOOT for Kids! HOOT stands for Hands On Occupational Therapy. And HOOT for Kids offers a customized Treasure Box for your child! The box features 3 or more carefully selected toys for newborns to six-year-old children! The toys that are chosen are specifically chosen to encourage purpose-driven play and strengthens developmental skills.

HOOT for Kids!

As you may know, my daughter has special needs, and I was very excited for her to receive her HOOT for Kids box, and I was not disappointed! She got some amazing toys and she loved all of them! Her box also included an activity card with suggested fun activities and tips for play, as do all the boxes! These boxes are also a great way for caregivers, family, and friends to get involved with the child’s development in a fun way!

Now let me tell you about the items in her box. There was a package of Ice Cream Erasers, an Ice Cream Truck Puzzle - that actually came in a fun Ice Cream Truck wit moving wheels -, and Maggie’s Closet!

ICE CREAM ERASERS

These fun erasers are actually two toys in one. They can be used for erasing! Or they can be used for pretend play! Your child can have a tea party and use the ice cream cones as snacks for the tea party! And they also smell sweet! So they are great sensory items, too!

ICE CREAM TRUCK PUZZLE

As I said before, this is a fun puzzle! But the box that it comes in, is an actual Ice Cream Truck with moving wheels! So it is great for pretend play and the 48 piece puzzle will challenge your child!

MAGGIE’S CLOSET

This was my daughter’s favorite toy in the HOOT for Kids box! It is a cute wooden doll named Maggie and a whole bunch of clothes and accessories for her to wear and use! The clothes all have velcro to make it easier to change her!

Each Treasure Box is customized by Lisa, their Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Lisa hand selects each toy based on a child’s age and developmental stage. The HOOT for Kids box costs $34.99 and it can be shipped or gifted. Discounts are available if you order multiple boxes. You also have the ability to purchase unique add-ons!! And have access to blogs and free activity sheets!!

Do you know a kid that would love a HOOT for Kids box? Use this code (5OFFBOX1) for $5 off your order!! This code will expire on August 1, 2017. Tell me all about it in the comments!!!!

My kids are a little to old for this box now, but they would have LOVED it when they were younger. That puzzle in the bus box is so fun!

Maggie looks pretty awesome! I love the variety of toys in the HOOT box- the erasers would have been a big hit when I was a child.
