Dulce de Leche Cheesecake Recipe. #SweetSwaps

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for the SPLENDA® Brand. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All opinions and reviews are my own.”

When the weather is this lovely and you deserve some me-time, there is nothing more fun than inviting a few friends over. Whether you just want to gossip, have a couple of drinks, watch a movie or do something a bit more active, it is always a great time when you are with your friends. This go round, I wanted to do something active, but nothing too strenuous because I have been super sick lately. So my friends and I decided to go for a swim for a few hours. And then after the swim, we would reward ourselves with a yummy Dulce de Leche cheesecake that I made using SPLENDA® Brand sugar! I found this recipe on the SweetSwaps website. And boy was it delicious!

Dulce de Leche Cheesecake

The day wasn’t all fun and games. The weather did try to ruin it for us. As soon as we got in the pool, it started to pour down the rain! It wasn’t even cloudy! And the weather wasn’t even calling for rain, but there it was! We jumped out of the pool quickly and we all huddled under the canopy on my porch. Thankfully, the rain quit after about 10 minutes and the sun came back out and it was hotter than ever. So back in the pool we went and we had a blast for the next few hours.

#SWEETSWAPS

Afterwards, like I mentioned before, we had a yummy slice of the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake that I made using SPLENDA® Brand sugar. This recipe is inspired by the one I found on the SweetSwaps.com website. My friends and I have been watching our sugar intake for the last few years, very closely. Ever since I found out that I had diabetes. It was a huge wake-up call and now when we indulge, we do so smartly. You can still enjoy what you eat and indulge yourself. You just to need to make smarter choices to maintain a balanced lifestyle. And that is why I try not to use sugar often. You can find so many great recipes on the SweetSwaps website, and not just dessert recipes! You can find just about anything to entice anyone! And it is such a lifesaver because I am always on the lookout for simple recipes that can help me lead a balanced lifestyle.

Dulce de Leche Cheesecake

And this Dulce de Leche Cheesecake recipe was super easy to make. Prep and cook time combined was only about an hour. And the taste!!! The taste is so amazing. I had to make it the night before, though. Because with any cheesecake, you want it to sit in the fridge for several hours before consuming it. I am in love with this cheesecake and I will definitely be making it again. I may have found my new favorite recipe. And in keeping with our goal of living a more balanced lifestyle, we only had one slice of the cheesecake each. But my family was there too, and they had a slice, too!

#SweetSwaps

The SPLENDA® Brand has many products that can replace sugar. They even have brown sugar! So why not make a Sweet Swap today!?!?! Because swapping just one cup of sugar with one cup of SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated can save you more than 600 calories!

#SWEETSWAPS

I look forward to trying many more SweetSwaps recipes. I am already planning my next get-together with my girlfriends, too, so that they can try it with me!

Dulce de Leche is love <3
I couldn't stress enough on how important it is to watch one's sugar intake; we're never too young nor too old for it. And, it's great that even if people are limiting their sugar intake, it doesn't mean that they can't enjoy sweet treats such as the Dulce de Leche. I love your recipe and I'm doing this super soon!
