DIY Pumpkin Stickers (Faux Jack O’Lantern).

October 26, 2016 by Mom Does It All 8 Comments

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday! I love everything about it. Except one thing, the carving of the pumpkins. The actual carving part is fun, making the faces and making them look like anything you want. It is the pumpkin guts that I can do without. That is why I love these DIY pumpkin stickers so much! You can make any face you want without any of the mess! And you only need 5 materials to make them! So easy and so fun! The kids will enjoy making them and you will enjoy not having to clean up all of the slimy pumpkin guts!

Materials: black duct tape, parchment paper, pumpkins
Tools: pencil, scissors
1. Draw Jack O’Lantern faces on the parchment paper.

2. Cover the drawing with black duct tape.

3. Flip over parchment paper. You can see the drawing through the parchment paper. Cut out the Jack O’Lantern face pieces using scissors.

4. Remove the parchment paper from the back of the face pieces and place on the pumpkins.

And that is it! Easy! A cute and easy DIY that is fun for the whole family!

These pumpkins are really cute. We normally carve our pumpkins, but I like the idea of using stickers.

These stickers are such a cute idea. I like that the idea behind the stickers can be used on other projects all year long.

This is absolutely brilliant! We were in Jamaica last week and I thought we’d have a chance to carve pumpkins when we got home but this week has been chaotic! This might be exactly what we need! Thanks!!!

What a fun idea and a lot less work than getting out the knife and carving.

I don’t have a DIY to share. However if you don’t have pumpkins or they are expensive use an orange pepper. Here pumpkins are 20 Euros quiet expensive.
