My daughter and I have a running date every week where we sit down to do at least one craft together. It’s fun and we both enjoy it, especially during holidays. But it can be difficult to come up with new crafts each week. Which is why it can be a huge help to find inspiration in books. The Quatro Group has some great Family Crafts Books and I am here to tell you all about them. I received a free copy for the purposes of this review. All opinions are honest and own.
Mom and Me: An Art Journal to Share
This book is just perfect for me and my daughter. It is written by Lacy Mucklow and Bethany Robertson. It is 128 pages of awesomeness! It is an art journal for moms and kids to color and draw together! It is designed to be a sharing experience and is great for getting in some quality time together. Mom and child can write each other letters, draw what scares them, imagine what they want to be when they are grown up, color a scene using only one favorite color, or whatever else their imaginations can take them to!
It is also filled with fun hand-lettering and artwork from Bethany Robertson! It also has creative prompts from licensed art therapist Lacy Mucklow. Mucklow offers up the best ways to communicate with a child through creating together! I would definitely recommend this book to any mother and their children!
The Art of Drawing Dangles: Creating Decorative Letters and Art with Charms
This book is written by Olivia A Kneibler. It is 144 pages of fun! Never heard of dangles? Well, dangles are a beautiful and whimsical new art form for people who love coloring and tangles. You can add anything to dangles. By adding charms and pretty embellishments to letters and artwork, you can make your own dangles. There are 50 projects in this book and you can add stunning patterns and color to dangles! You can also personalize your dangles with charms that are unique to you! What is even more fun is creating dangle words from the dangle alphabet in the book! Dangles are a perfect way to accentuate your stationery, invitations, lettering, journals, and so much more! I love this book!
Hand Lettering A to Z: A World of Creative Ideas for Drawing and Designing Alphabets
This book is written by Abbey Sy and is 128 pages of creative and amazing letters! It is such a fun book. It is a very hands-on book in which artist and calligrapher Abbey Sy presents her creative lettering! She also invites artists from several countries to contribute alphabets of their own! They are all unique and they are all hand drawn. A collection of phrases is added to each set to show readers the different ways to use the lettering. So then it is super easy to have fun with it in different languages! These languages include French, Spanish, Irish, Swedish, Portuguese, and so much more. You can use these phrases when you are making cards, gifts, or having fun with your journals or diaries. Hand lettering does not require disciplined study like calligraphy. So it is great for even beginners! Anyone can try their hand at this!
Stick it to ‘Em: Playful Stickers to Color & Create: 275+ stickers with sass for family, friends, and frenemies
This book is written by Bailey Fleming. And for anyone that likes stickers as much as I do, it is over 100 pages and full of over 275 stickers! Stick it to ‘Em is so much fun and your chance to play as you create customized stickers! This fun book includes a list of colorful art tools for you to use and also details easy drawing and lettering techniques! There are also step-by-step tutorials that can help you find your creativity! There is also a selection of fully designed styles to use any way you like, a variety of stickers to color in, and blank stickers to create your own. The book is also filled with silly stuff and saying to keep the fun going!
So there you have it! 4 amazing crafts books that would make any crafter smile! They are all affordable and available at

This is great, I love the idea of having family craft books that will inspire everyone in the family to get to crafting! These look like a great addition to our home, will be purchasing them! I enjoy keeping an area in the home stocked for crafting ideas/options for when I shut off all electronics and it’s raining out or later in the day.
So cool! There are so many craft kits that are BORING for us adults. Would love to have some that appeal to all ages!
These would make great birthday gifts for moms and also for kids. A great idea to just keep on hand for last minute gifts.
