As you can probably tell from my blog, and the recipes tab, I am a pretty big foodie! I love to cook and I love to eat! I love crafting new recipes and experimenting with old ones! No matter what it is - main dishes, side dishes, kid friendly recipes AND desserts - I love food! And now that I have the mega-awesome Galaxy Note 5 from Verizon, I have really been taking advantage of all of the amazing food apps that are available. And there are so many! So many good ones! Here are my top five!
YUMMLY
I love Yummly! I use it all the time for my blog. My blog also has it’s own Yummly page. The Yummly app allows you to save entire recipes to your grocery shopping list. You can also collect, save and organize your favorite recipes in your digital recipe box. Based on the the recipes that you like and dace - the app will give you many recommendations that they think you will like. You can even personalize a diet!
GRUBHUB
I am sure a lot of you have already heard of GrubHub! If not, you need to go check it out now! It is an app that offers free ordering for delivery or pickup from more than 28,000 restaurants in 600+ cities. Just search by address or current location, find what you’re hungry for, order and enjoy. It is really that easy! This app is especially amazing to use when you are on vacation and are not sure what is available!
ALLRECIPES
If you are looking for recipes, cooking tips or how-to videos - then the AllRecipes app is the one for you. They have pretty much any recipe you can think of. So if you are looking for a casserole recipe or are looking to make a fun cake for a birthday party, AllRecipes has you covered.
FOOD.COM
The Food.com app may be the most comprehensive recipe and grocery-deals app I have ever used. Food.com’s new app puts 500,000 rated and reviewed recipes in your pocket, plus gives you an organized recipe box, a meal-planning tool and instant access to savings at your local grocery stores. How could you say no to an app like that? And, it’s free!
GUESS THE FOOD
Now that I have showed you 4 awesome food apps, how about one just for fun! Guess the Food app is lots of fun! I love playing it when I am sitting in a waiting room or waiting in the car. It is exactly like it sounds. The app gives you pictures and you guess the food! So easy and so fun!
And I enjoy them all thanks to my awesome service from Verizon! And you can save now and switch! You should also really check out this awesome list of cooking & food apps on the Verizon Wireless site, it is completely different than mine and there are a lot of great ones on this list, too!
