I have a great recipe for you today and I think it would be a great recipe to make for Valentine’s Day. What goes better with Valentine’s Day than chocolate and strawberries? But, I have had chocolate covered strawberries for the last 5 years in a row so I thought it would be fun to switch it up this year. I have an awesome Strawberry and Nutella Hot Chocolate recipe for you that still incorporates the great taste of chocolate and strawberries. This recipe is super easy to make and only takes three ingredients!
STRAWBERRY AND NUTELLA HOT CHOCOLATE
Like I said, this Strawberry and Nutella Hot Chocolate recipe is so easy. You start out by pureeing a cup of strawberries. Then you will melt a half a cup of Nutella in the microwave until melted. Make sure you use a microwave safe bowl! Then you will mix both of those ingredients plus 8 ounces of milk in a saucepan for about 3 minutes or until warm. Do not let it come to a boil. Then transfer the ingredients to whatever cup you are using. You can then top it with some cool whip or a strawberry for garnish! And that is it! You are done! And now you have a tasty and warm treat for you and your loved one on this frosty Valentine’s Day!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup of Nutella
- 1 cup of strawberries
- 8 ounces of milk
- cool whip (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a food processor, puree your strawberries.
- Place the Nutella in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 1 minute or until melted.
- In a small saucepan, add milk, pureed strawberries, and melted Nutella.
- Cook over a medium-low heat for 3 minutes or until warm, but do not bring to a boil.
- Top with cool whip (optional).
- Enjoy!
